DAHlicious is a small brand currently experiencing rapid growth in the on-trend dairy and plant-based yogurt category. As the Brand Manager, you are the heart of the brand, responsible for the growth agenda, including all marketing touchpoints, both internally and externally. In this role, you must be willing to be accountable for both the long-term strategic direction (brand strategy) and short-term tactical needs (sample shipping requirements) in an ever-changing, fast-paced environment.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead commercialization and build a business plan for new product opportunities in collaboration with sales, operations, product development, and finance.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the brand’s consumer demographics, psychographics, and behavioral drivers through already established and new platforms.
  • Support a consumer-centric brand plan to drive sustainable long-term brand health, including equity, awareness, and engagement
  • Responsible for owning all branded items across all departments, both consumer and company facing.
  • Identify and address knowledge gaps in consumer, brand, product, business, and marketplace to build a learning plan.
  • Develop a creative territory that brings the brand to life and identify and overcome barriers that enable effective consumer communication.
  • Activate the brand’s communication pillars and incorporate them into innovation strategy.
  • Lead commercialization and build a business plan for new product opportunities in collaboration with sales, operations, product development, and finance.
  • Use ongoing analysis and other methodologies/tactics to mobilize “real-time” adaptations to plans.
  • Contribute to developing short and long-term marketing objectives, strategies, and tactics to deliver against the agreed-upon brand, business, and financial goals.
  • Oversee trade-marketing initiatives.
  • Oversee the management of Demo activation in critical markets and help develop local and event marketing opportunities around key markets or moments.
  • Manage agencies in the development process and execution of all advertising campaigns.
  • Lead the in-market execution and implementation of all consumer-facing elements of the brand plan and provide brand input to Sales on all shopper-facing activities.
  • Actively monitor Brand KPIs and guide on corrective action to achieve agreed objectives.
  • Participate in the development and execution of an annual marketing plan and assist in building the brand strategy.
  • Assist leadership with SOP, which includes monitoring product shipments, anticipating and identifying potential growth/declines, identifying gaps and risks and opportunities to the plan, and working with Sales to execute gap-closure initiatives (Hands-On).
  • Responsible for compiling and tracking promotional programs for retailers, distributors, and DTC.
  • Perform other sales and marketing-related duties as needed.
  • Responsible for delivering branded revenue

Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years previous in a Brand Management level role, preferably in an FMCG company
  • Experience developing strategic plans, such as communication campaigns or commercialization strategies, is required.
  • Experience leveraging data and trends (i.e., syndicated data) to generate insights to understand consumer behavior is required.
  • Experience partnering with cross-functional teams and our agency partners is required.
  • Must have a proven track record of managing multiple projects and showing initiative to drive impact in a fast-changing environment.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and visual communication skills with experience presenting to senior leadership.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Design knowledge/ skills preferred but not required.
  • Ability to travel as needed
