Summary: Wild Leap Brew Co. of LaGrange, GA is seeking an experienced Cellar Person to join our rapidly growing brewing team.
The Cellar Person is responsible for the duties related to the fermentation, dry hopping, conditioning and carbonation of all beer in our cellar, as well as performing cleaning and sanitation procedures of tanks, product lines, and other equipment.
Duties also include performing measurements on the temperature, gravity, DO, pH, and various measurements to monitor yeast health.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Operate and troubleshoot cellar and brewing equipment in a safe manner
Monitor gravities, temperatures, pH and carbonations regularly and log all measurements.
Harvest yeast and manage yeast health
Complete all necessary documentation accurately and on time
Maintain inventory as needed.
Perform FV and Brewhouse CIP and SIP procedures.
Assist other departments when necessary, including but not limited to brewing and packaging.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Formal brewing education and/or college degree preferred.
Experience: Minimum 1 year experience in a brewery or related environment.
