Jordan hung up his corporate suit and immersed himself in all things nutrition and food. The trio experimented and researched the gut-brain connection, the causes of systemic inflammation, and the impact of certain foods and additives on our health, immunity, and performance. When all was said and done, the answer was pretty clear: replacing weird, industrial ingredients with simple, healthier ones was the key to thriving, not just surviving. Motivated by their health and wellness learnings, they set out to create a food brand that brought to life their newfound passion and human-centric philosophy.
Today, Hu makes a variety of delicious snacks and confections, including our award-winning dark chocolate bars, chocolate-covered nuts and fruit, and grain-free crackers. We aim to be a brand that leads with taste and nutrition, while balancing that ambition with a human-centric focus on purpose, sustainability, and ethical sourcing. About the Role
Hu is looking for a chocolate-loving Performance Marketing Manager and paid media expert who will be responsible for driving DTC revenue (HuKitchen.com) via Paid Search, Display / Programmatic, Paid Social, etc. In this role, it will be key to have an entrepreneurial, self-starter attitude and team player mentality. As a seasoned paid media expert, you will be expected to own and lead all paid media strategy, development, planning, implementation, performance optimizations and rigorous testing, while maintaining efficiency and tracking to growth KPIs. The position is remote and reports into the Sr. Director of eCommerce.
Create and develop multi-channel digital strategies for channels such as Facebook, Instagram, Google, Bing, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, paid media, etc.
Oversee and manage daily performance marketing, including, Paid Search, Display/Programmatic, Paid Social, etc.
Work closely with head of eCommerce and Finance to manage the performance marketing budget, set forecasts, and expectations for sustainable growth. Analyzing spend with data analytics of each strategy for ROI, CAC, and LTV.
Deliver media forecasting and building a media mix to hit overall company goals for the DTC business.
Understand the Hu target consumer for each channel and develop reflective strategies based on target goals.
Develop an A/B testing framework and feedback loop for the brand team to continuously iterate on our paid social copy + creative efforts.
Continually iterate on our attribution modeling to understand how our marketing efforts are driving customer growth and retention.
Closely monitor, measure, and report on campaign performance, budgeting, and conduct ad hoc analyses.
Manage channel alignment based on performance by identifying and testing new channels that they continue to meet or exceed established KPIs.
Analyze customer segments for opportunities to test retention strategies and to maximize lifetime value.
Submit creative requests for all digital advertising deliverables for each campaign and work closely with the creative team to optimize existing ads.
Represent the Hu mission, culture, and values to both internal and external parties.

Who you are:
Bachelors’ degree in marketing or related field
You have 4+ years of professional experience focused in performance marketing
Experience managing a large scale, multi-channel monthly budget
Strong understanding of omni-channel marketing strategies
You have excellent time management and project management skills
You are conscientious, detail-oriented, efficient and can multitask
You are passionate and have your finger on the pulse of what’s trending
