The Director of Logistics, Fulfillment and Sales Operations will be responsible for all aspects of network logistics and fulfillment center management.  This includes retail and e-commerce operations and service.

What You'll Do:

  • Ensure all products meet all quality, food safety and regulatory requirements and standards
  • Leads team to insure everyone has clearly defined goals and job responsibilities
  • Responsible for managing budget and overall freight and fulfillment expenditure
  • Leads all logistics and fulfillment initiatives for organization
  • Responsible for insuring on-time, in-full deliveries for retail partners
  • Coordinate and optimize e-commerce deliveries to meet inventory turnover objectives
  • Manage relationships with all fulfillment partners and carriers
  • Negotiate and lead RFP’s for carrier and fulfillment rates
  • Build and provide order forecasts and partner with fulfillment partners on strategic planning
  • Ensure adherence to all retail and e-commerce partner KPI’s
  • Establish and maintain Key Performance Indicators for all aspects of logistics
  • Lead and hold monthly meetings with strategic partners
  • Scout for inefficiencies throughout network and drive initiatives to improve


Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of logistics and fulfillment experience in the emerging CPG space
  • Passionate about food safety and quality
  • Comfort with managing expiration dates and lot numbers
  • High degree of comfort with major retailers and e-commerce sites
  • Familiarity with major carriers and rate structures
  • Experience managing multiple fulfillment centers
  • Strong organization skills and high level of attention to detail
  • Strong communication and influence:  clear and concise
  • Sense of urgency and ability to work in a fast-paced environment (80+ new products per year)
