Job Description:

  • Responsible for territory sales development & management within the Northeast
  • Direct distributor selling activities to achieve sales, distribution and merchandising goals
  • Monitor market pricing to ensure price consistency with brand targets
  • Responsible for educating distributor sales staff on products and brand
  • Responsible for the management of local market budgets
  • Management of on & off premise market activity within territories
  • Work in conjunction with Volley marketing team to maximize local market brand awareness
  • Have high visibility at the distributor management level and meet with sales representatives and management to ensure pursuit of Volley’s goals and objectives
  • Execute product seminars at accounts and with distributor sales team
  • Participate in company-wide morning huddle daily
  • Stay informed and knowledgeable of customer and consumer trends
  • Provide monthly market activity report to National Sales Director, including a list of objectives, accomplishments, competitive activity, special projects and/or any needs
  • Act as point person for distributor re-orders within market and coordinate with Supply Chain team to ensure smooth execution
  • Provide feedback on effectiveness of marketing and sales initiatives
  • Develop rapport with key retail accounts in region to ensure proper brand distribution, promotion, and shelf management are taking place
  • Manage all T&E expenses and local budgets for market
  • Work with compliance team to stay informed and knowledgeable of all laws, regulations, and policies that govern the market and keep management informed of all information pertaining to changes
