Communications Specialist with Photography Skills
As we move forward in our development, we seek an experienced and talented marketing mind to work with our team in implementing and executing strategies that will help further our rapid growth.
The primary role for the Communications Specialist is to work under the supervision of the Director of Marketing in building and maintaining relationships between Lord Hobo and the outside world. Specific tasks and activities required to create and execute all communication initiatives will include, but are not limited to, the following:
Key Responsibilities:
Editorial copy on all promotional materials
Press releases, social media, email campaigns, events, sell sheet, website content, product descriptions, POS materials, others as assigned
Direct contact for all media relations
Maintain an updated media database and pro-actively pitch to local and regional media
Manage all social media platforms
Ability to define marketing conversion metrics
Execute and grow product marketing communication strategy
Generate weekly data reports on social media, newsletters, google analytics and media-exposure
Develop innovative ideas to increase web traffic, customer engagement on social platforms and overall digital brand awareness
Attend all large brand related events for live social media posts, photography and to manage any press
Work with the marketing team to understand concepts and project requirements
Collaborate with the marketing team members to launch projects
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
At a minimum, the Communications Specialist must have the following qualifications and skills:
4-year college degree (or higher) with 2-5 years of relevant professional experience
Beer or lifestyle beverage industry experience a huge plus
Comfortable traveling regularly and working autonomously
Background in journalism preferred
Public relations and media coverage experience preferred
Background in photography and videography
