We are seeking a leader in Business Intelligence Manager to help us change how American eats. We bring a fast-paced tech approach to the food and snacking space and need a highly analytical partner to help us continuously improve. You will be accountable for three main areas to support our sales strategy: retail forecasting, category and competitive assessments, and Internal reporting (i.e. Promo analysis, KPI tracking, etc.)

The Business Intelligence Manager will manage the key day-to-day activities related to managing our business analytics, data, and insights.  Assessing business performance for the company, creating efficiencies, as well as continuous improvement in planning. Knowledge of the consumer-packaged goods and specifically food industry, distributor network is preferred. We are looking for an individual who is proactive, can do attitude and action oriented. Someone who is curious and brings competitive insights and opportunities proactively to us. You can’t wait for a new week’s data to be available to crack it open and see what we learn to move our business forward. You will report to the Chief Sales Officer.


  • Drive commercial analytics including day-to-day scorecards, and forecasting. 
  • Responsible for compiling, maintaining, analyzing, and presenting market, customer, and internal company sales data to evaluate performance and sales strategies in the market.
  • Maintains databases and prepares weekly/monthly reports. Provides analysis of market execution and program ROI.
  • ERP Crafted data base, support sales and operations teams with input, and priorities. 
  • Analyze and review on-going opportunities, threats, strengths, and weaknesses affecting growth for the company. 
  • Coordinate the implementation of sales effectiveness initiatives and standard KPI’s for reporting, including monthly and quarterly business review frameworks with market analysis.  
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Possess the ability to focus on multiple objectives and tasks while meeting deadlines and achieving departmental goals.

Job requirements

  • 5+ years CPG experience
  • Understanding of distributors, wholesalers and retail customers
  • Advanced level of analytical skills and ability to use internal systems, partner portals and syndicated data sources including SPINS, Nielsen, IRI, and Microsoft office tools. 
  • Ability to create and effectively communicate analytical reports.
  • Proficiency in Excel preferred.
  • Strong organizational and follow through skills.
  • Accomplished in multi-tasking and effectively prioritizing tasks to meet multiple deadlines.
  • Ability to respond in timely manner to common inquiries
  • Strong attention to detail, verbal/written communication skills. 
  • Ability to travel on occasion.
