Clear/Cut Phocus LLC (“Phocus”) is looking for a highly motivated, energetic sales manager to grow Phocus in the Pacific Northwest. This person will be responsible for managing Phocus’ distributor and chain account relationships, developing new business, as well as assisting the company in establishing brand awareness, driving brand adoption, and generating sales. This person will serve as a “Player/Coach” working and managing one additional sales representative initially with future team growth anticipated. This position will call on accounts in the Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Northern California and Montana areas.


Responsibilities

  • Understand and embrace the Phocus culture 
  • Manage and maintain a positive and productive relationship with Distribution Partners, Retail Customers, and Brokers
  • Manage and provide direction and guidance to Sales Staff
  • Enjoy working in the field as a “Player/Coach”.  Will spend 80% of time in the field 
  • Work cooperatively with Marketing, Operations and Executive Management     
  • Promote brand awareness and drive sales through execution strategies for POS placement, merchandising, pricing and increased SKU distribution  
  • Develop qualified prospects/customers, consistently increase sales funnel
  • Conduct onsite account visits and facilitation of secondary placement  
  • Execute monthly sales goals
  • Maintain consistent interaction with primary accounts
  • Prepare regional planning and reporting, including weekly updates
  • Attend promotional and marketing events, such as regional tradeshows, as needed 
  • Capture all accounts and customer information and add all data into the MIS platform 

Experience & Qualifications

  • Passionate about the brand  
  • Minimum of 5 years of beverage sales experience 
  • Enjoys working in the field as a “Player/Coach”
  • Strong knowledge of wholesaler operations, programming, and pricing
  • Sales Skills: aggressive, action-oriented, results-oriented, prospecting, qualification, verbal presentation, negotiating and closing
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with limited direction and supervision  
  • Access to reliable transportation
  • Ability to work occasional weekend and evening events as needed
  • Valid driver’s license and 21+
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and site visit platforms (i.e. Shelvspace, Repsly, etc.)
