SHAKA TEA Area Sales Managers in PA, NJ, D.C./Northern VA
Shaka Tea is looking for some dynamite Area Sales Managers on the East Coast to join our Team. Must be based in NJ, PA, and/or D.C./Northern VA.
Shaka Tea, a growing, 100% plant-based, 0g sugar/0cal, herbal Hawaiian tea company is expanding! We are looking for experienced and high-energy Area Sales Managers with deep ties in the region who believe in our mission, vision and commitment to health of our consumers and sustainable agriculture in Hawaii. As a fast-paced startup, you must have a high degree of drive, initiative and flexibility. Having a joyful personality is a major plus.
The Area Sales Managers are accountable for selling and managing Shaka Tea across all channels, overseeing and managing our growing DSD network. Developing and managing programs to generate and increase sales of Shaka Tea is the primary focus of this role, in addition to working closely with management to achieve sales goals and increase brand reach and velocity in NJ, PA and D.C. metro area/Northern VA. Experience with food service is a plus, but experience in major retailer chains and c-stores is required.
The Area Sales Managers will work with our founders and Director of Key Accounts on a day-to-day basis and weekly calls are key, as well as a monthly team meeting with founders and other colleagues as the team grows to ensure that the new opportunities align with brand strategies, volume, spending, and profit goals monthly, quarterly and annually.
Critical for success in this role is a highly entrepreneurial candidate who will work closely with our distributors in retail and food service, with a major focus on growing case sales at store and chain level. Regular distributor ride-withs, sales meetings and customer account calls are crucial for winning in this territory and growing Shaka Tea sales.
