What You Will Do: 

  • Maintain, recognize and expand distribution in both new and existing accounts 
  • Travel throughout the territory and visit customers on a recurring basis 
  • Identify in-store incremental sales opportunities by securing new product placements, maximizing shelf space and ensuring high-quality merchandising 
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with store management through the entire sales cycle, including developing new leads, educating stores about the brand and product offerings, and turning prospective accounts into long term customers 
  • Efficiently plan and execute assigned projects within the territory, ensuring decisions align with company objectives 
  • Develop and implement strategies for achieving and exceeding set sales metrics 
  • Conduct strategic field sales tactics by cultivating relationships with store managers and buyers. This includes but is not limited to: securing additional product displays, expanding product facings, expanding brand blocks, filling distribution gaps, optimizing product placement, and increasing awareness of new products 
  • Prepare and submit daily status reports of key findings from the field 
  • Represent CAULIPOWER at various tradeshows and marketing events 
  • Responsible for conducting occasional in-store demos

You are passionate about the better-for-you food space and are ideally immersed in the new world of veggie-forward, cleaner-label and better-for-you brands. Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred 
  • 1-3 years’ experience in sales, preferably within CPG 
  • Strong selling and motivational skills 
  • Strong communication skills, organizational skills and time management ability 
  • Positive attitude and ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment 
  • Solution-oriented and comfortable taking initiative 
  • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit and comfortable working in a start-up environment 
  • Able to juggle multiple tasks all at once 
  • Proficient in MS Office, Dropbox, Google Docs and Outlook 
  • Have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation 
  • Occasional travel required 
  • At least 21 years old 
  • Able to lift 30 lbs.
