Atwater Brewery, home of the Dirty Blonde, is looking for a Brewery Operations Manager who is responsible for the overall direction, guidance and safety of the company. This includes organizing and directing all departmental related activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all daily manpower planning and manpower scheduling and assuring the meeting of daily production requirements in support of customer shipping requirements.
  • Accountability for adherence to supply chain supervision, management and lost reduction targets, (as directed) overseeing demand planning activities; monitoring progress, increase supply dependability and flexibility, reviewing schedule.
  • Monitor plant employee performance and attendance to ensure the plant work force is operating to company policy and taking appropriate actions up to and including recommendations to management on promotion, discipline and, when necessary, termination of plant operating personnel. Coordinate with Management on matters relating to regular production, special production and available shelf inventory raw and process materials, standard pack sizes, etc. Assist, as requested and or required by operational practice, with management's efforts to operate the business in an efficient, high quality, cost effective manner.
  • Continuously monitor waste for evidence of unacceptable waste in materials.
  • Continuously monitor the condition of the equipment to ensure it is operationally ready at all times to minimize down time
  • Implement and monitor all safety policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in the establishment of applicable supply agreements, contracts and purchase order terms and conditions.

  • Ability to manage, train, and motivate the team.
  • Manage and/or assist HR with all employee related issues

Education and Experience:

  • BS or BA in Business or related field
  • 3-5years experience in an operations role with a beverage/manufacturing company
  • Experience with inventory management, production, purchasing and inventory control
