Oh Hi Beverages is a branding and manufacturing company with a line of THC and CBD-infused drinks.  Headquartered in Durango, Colorado, we are looking for a strategic Director of Sales to join our team! Oh Hi Beverages needs an experienced leader with the ability to develop a sales plan for our CBD line, with potential crossover to other product lines. 

The Director of Sales will be responsible for developing an overall sales plan for the successful establishment of new accounts nationwide for our CBD-infused seltzers, with volume goals and strategies.  S/he will manage sales employees and contract representatives to develop and execute the plan.  An individual-based in Colorado is desired to facilitate meetings with management since this is still a start-up product, but we are open to candidates located in other states. CBD Industry knowledge/experience would be an asset. 

This is an exciting new sales position with tremendous potential for growth and shaping the sales and marketing side of Oh Hi Beverages, Inc.   This is a very exciting time for us, and we look forward to bringing on a great sales leader. 


  • General understanding of motivating, managing, and leading a sales team

  • Responsible to grow business optimizing utilization of sales resources 

  • Interact, integrate, and drive sales results

  • Strong ability to manage budgets and company financials

  • Ability to regularly make direct sales calls (identification of targets, identifying customer requirements, qualification process, quoting, and follow-up).

  • Knowledge of modern-day sales management 

  • Develop, implement, and execute sales, marketing, and pricing strategies.  

  • Identify opportunities with clients to reduce costs, maintain regulatory compliance and facilitate achieving clients/ strategic goals. 

  • Develop an annual sales plan in support of organization strategy and objectives

  • Establish sales objectives, forecast and develop sales quotas 

  • Establish and implement short- and long-range goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures

  • Project sales volume and profit for existing and new accounts

  • Develop and implement long term revenue goals for the overall company budget

  • Maintain sales volume and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors

  • Establish and adjust sales prices by monitoring costs, competition, and supply/demand

  • Provide strategic insight and guidance to ownership

  • Recommend sales strategies for improvement based on market research and competitor analysis

  • Present market trends and opportunities for product lines

  • Consistently establish new product distribution channels to increase product sales

  • Work cross-functionally to develop brand positioning, creative strategy, and key campaigns that will significantly drive the evolution of the brand, the brand voice, and brand awareness within the CBD industry

  • Build, develop and manage sales team capable of carrying out sales goals

  • Implement and execute sales policies and practices

  • Implement approved distribution strategies

  • Direct and coordinate company sales and marketing functions

  • Direct and oversee marketing to identify and develop new customers for products

  • Research and develop strategies and plans which identify marketing opportunities, direct marketing, and new project development

  • Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of sales, methods, costs, and results

  • Develop and manage sales and marketing budgets, and oversee the development and management of internal operating budgets

  • Directly manage major and critical developing client accounts

  • Coordinate the management of all accounts

  • Supervise the planning and development of company marketing and communications materials

  • Supervise the preparation, issuance, and delivery of sales materials, exhibits, and promotion programs

  • Promote and maintain positive relations with partners, vendors, and distributors


  • 4+ years of sales management experience, with a proven track record leading successful sales teams while meeting or exceeding set goals

  • Ability to develop new business in the CBD industry/Established relationships a plus

  • Experience planning and executing marketing strategies

  • Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings

  • Ability to set budgets, manage expenses, and forecast accurately

  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a startup environment

  • Market understanding of regulatory factors for CBD commerce & distribution 

  • Knowledge of structuring sales quota goals and revenue expectations

  • Excellent written communication, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills

  • Excellent MS Excel/PowerPoint/Word/OneDrive/Google Suite skills

  • BA or BS preferred

  • CBD industry or beverage industry experience preferred 

  • CRM experience required

  • Marketing experience a plus

  • Obtaining a Colorado marijuana occupational license may be requested 

  • Ability to lift 30 pounds


The three company owners in conjunction with the Head of Operations.    


Currently, this position is being offered on a contract basis and will be ongoing depending on the achievement of work with compensation equivalent to a range of $50,000-$65,000 annual salary plus commissions.
