Steve Austin’s Broken Skull IPA, or as Steve puts it, “The Best Damn IPA in America,” has found success in many new markets in 2020 and we’re looking for someone to join our team, strengthen our relationships with our new partners and take the Broken Skull brand to the next level with our distributors nationwide. Our ideal candidate will be a well-organized self-starter with industry experience in distribution, sales, or ideally both. Relationships on the East Coast preferred, but not mandatory. Candidate should reside in a US market we currently service, or one we will be servicing soon. Centrally located on the East Coast preferred. We work with almost all the Sheehan Companies, relationships with any of them is a big plus! This position has a large growth potential with current brand projections.

Requirements: 

  • 5+ years' experience in beverage sales or distribution 

  • Strong Computer skills including MS Office, experience with VIP and IDIG. 

  • Certified Beer Server 

  • Clean Driving Record 

  • Ability to travel approximately 50% of the time. 

  • Big fan of Steve Austin preferred. What? 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Prepare and conduct an Annual Business Planning Meeting for each distributor. 

  • Use reporting to identify opportunities and actively search out new placements. 

  • Be the major communication conduit between the brand and distributor partners. 

  • Manage Inventories at all Distributors and provide velocity planning to production. 

  • Plan and execute sales incentives and other “share of mind” programs including building relationships with sales managers and reps. 

  • Work with Marketing and our Key Accounts manager to develop programs for national chain accounts. 

  • Schedule and perform market visits to distributor partners and to top accounts. 

  • Conduct market audits to ensure company standards are being kept. 

  • Identify market opportunities, including POS placements, events, and strategic partnerships and communicate them back to marketing team. And manage a marketing budget. 

  • Visit Brewery a minimum of twice a year and keep yourself educated on El Segundo Brewing’s other offerings. 

  • Represent the brand at events, conferences, etc.  

  • Develop, plan and execute marketing actions / events, etc. 

  • Be an extension of the brand to all you interact with including on social media. 

  • Assist Chief Vision Officer and Marketing department on brand planning. 

  • Copy writing and social media interaction, an existing social media presence a plus. 

  • Develop merchandise opportunities with marketing department. 

 

Current Markets: - AZ, CT, DC, GA, IN, KY, MA, MD, ME, MO, NH, NJ, NY, OH, OR, PA, RI, TN, NV, TX, VA, VT, WI  

By end of 2021 - IL, FL, NC, SC 

International Markets in 2021 – Japan, Australia, New Zealand, UK, Canada, South Korea, Taiwan
