We are currently recruiting a motivated and organized Laboratory Technician. The Laboratory’s main
responsibility is to oversee the Quality Assurance and Control of daily operations including brewing,
cellar operations, and packaging. In addition, Seismic operates a state-of-the-art wastewater treatment
and recovery system which is monitored by the Laboratory. The Lab Tech will perform daily QA/QC,
wastewater, and analytical tasks, reporting directly to the Laboratory Manager and the Brewmaster.

JOB DETAILS: The Laboratory is a central and critical hub of information gathering, data management,
and analysis. Weekly responsibilities will include:
? Packaging QC Support (Measuring D.O., Carbonation, Fill Height, & Filler Hygiene)
? Sensory Analysis; Coordination and Participation in the Daily Sensory Panel
? Data Acquisition and Analysis
? Laboratory Data Reporting (to Management and Operations Team)
? Assisting with the Coordination of the Safety Program and Environmental Compliance
? Monitoring and Operating the Wastewater Treatment and Recovery System
? Maintaining Laboratory Equipment in Good Working Order

? 1-3 years of experience in a related field, eg. Laboratory or applied sciences.
? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially in writing or technical
? Data analysis and visualization skills – with M.S. Excel or other software.
? Tidiness and organization.
? Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks to fit schedule.
? The ability to lift and/or move up to 75 lbs.
? Forklift experience- Highly preferred
? Commensurate with Experience
