Job Description: 

Company is based in Aurora, IL.  The ideal clients would live near by in the Greater Chicago area or Milwaukee/ Madison.

Iya Foods is a fast-growing natural foods company that sells online and through grocery retailers Gluten Free baking mixes, flours and soon GF Crackers (launching Jan 2022).  They are focused on Wellness and insuring they are providing the best quality ingredients to their consumers.  Iya has a strong focus on supporting the community through a program called Share The Love for example Share The Love - Children

Iya Foods empowers communities to make lasting memories with wholesome ingredients. We have the honor of supporting the growth and development of 15 children living in a small Nigerian orphanage in Osun state. We cover food, shelter and tuition, we also provide mentorship and love to these beautiful children through our Share The Love impact programs.



Iya Foods is looking for a Sales Associate to support the Iya Food Sales Team fast growth pace.  This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to grow with company and get in on the ground floor.  We are looking for someone who is motivated to help and learn.  Responsible for submitting retailer promotional contracts, managing retailer portals, and assisting in the entry and maintenance of our trade management system.  This person will report to VP of Sales


  • Support Sales Team 80% of the time and 20% help the rest of the Iya Team Production and Marketing
  • Submit and manager incoming sales and sample requests
  • Support with VP of Sales on retailer presentation and promotional trade
  • Assist in the creation of sales materials for meetings
  • Seek solutions to problems and try to create efficiencies when possible
  • Help organize and deliver on retailer category reviews
  • Help follow up with Retailer needs
  • Communicate with Production and Marketing about upcoming sales programs and potential production, delivery, or sales issues


  • Minimum 3 years outside or inside sales experience OR 2+ years’ experience at a food CPG
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work independently while also being a part of a team
  • Exceptional team player, able to manage cross-departmental communication with positive mindset
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and strong communication skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be solution oriented
  • Positive attitude and desire to learn more
  • Must be comfortable using mac and excel to analyze data
