Pipeworks Brewing Co is a self-distributing brewery in Illinois and Wisconsin with export to several states nationally

Pipeworks is looking to expand its sales team to include a Sales Manager.

Primary responsibilities will include implementing data-based strategies to increase sales at existing accounts and across all Pipeworks markets. Organization, effective communication, computer skills and the ability to participate in forecasting will be essential. The ideal person for this position will be professional, self-motivated while willing to work as part of a team

Specific Responsibilities Include:

  • Aggregate and analyze sales data to inform brew schedules and sales strategies

  • Develop plans to better facilitate sales and increase value with key on and off premise accounts

  • Participate in the creation and detailed execution of Go To Market Plan(s)

  • Work with sales team to update account lists and enhance the documentation of account communications and details

  • Work in coordination with the sales team and Pipeworks management to develop and hit distribution and volume goals

  • Cultivate a deep understanding of the Pipeworks portfolio which includes a constant flow of new SKUs and manage store-level education with our team of delivery drivers

  • Coordinate with Pipeworks Creative Director on pointed marketing campaigns, POS materials, and display enhancers

  • Perform all administrative duties in a timely fashion

  • Be an everyday ambassador for Pipeworks Brewing Co and maintain a professional demeanor including situations when alcohol is present

  • Ability and willingness to maintain a flexible work schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

  • Ability and willingness to participate in events such as festivals, store tastings, tours etc

  • Travel may be required. Must have a current driver’s license and clean driving history


The Best Candidates Will Have:

  • Proficiency with spreadsheets - specifically Google Sheets

  • Experience with DSD, Route Accounting, ERP software (VIP, Encompass, SAP, etc)

  • Experience with implementing CRM software

  • Determination and an energetic enthusiasm for team building

  • Excellent multitasking abilities

  • 2 years of experience as a Sales Manager

  • 1 year of experience working within a brewery sales environment
