Rush! Energy Drink Launches The Rock Bus!


ATLANTA – Reaching out to music enthusiasts and The Rock Boat Alumni throughout the country, Monarch Beverage’s Rush! Energy Drink(tm), partnered with Sixthman, the producers of The Rock Boat, celebrates its growth and popularity by offering The Rush! Energy Rock Bus, sponsored by Tovaritch Vodka, AirTran Airways and Creative Loafing. The Rush! Energy Rock Bus’ aim is to bring artists from The Rock Boat cruises to the fans in their own communities. The Rush! Energy Rock Bus features intimate concert experiences with two of the most exciting emerging acts on the scene, The Zac Brown Band and Wideawake, both veterans of The Rock Boat.

The Zac Brown Band is presently the most sought after southern band in the music industry and one of the biggest drawing acts in the south. Zac’s style is acoustic-based and your jaw will drop as you bear witness to Zac’s frantic finger-pickin’, hand-thumpin’, nylon-stringed guitar solos. A true “Redneck Renaissance Man,” Zac’s shows are a world of “chicken-fried” mayhem where fans raise their glasses and toast in unison to their favorite part of his songs. Wideawake brings an edgy blend of modern rock and acoustic pop to the stage. Charismatic and contagious, the band has taken off from its Austin roots and been embraced throughout the country. With major opening dates on national tours including Gavin DeGraw and Switchfoot, plenty of awards under their belt, radio play and an energetic show that can capture any crowd, Wideawake has that perfect combination to make them the next big thing.

The tour embarks from Atlanta on Wednesday, July 19 and then heads out on a four week voyage, hitting a total of twenty-one markets, from Atlanta to Los Angeles.
