At Soma Beverage Company, the health and wellness of our consumers is our priority. To that end, Soma Beverage Company, LLC has announced that we are voluntarily recalling Metromint Waters produced at our West Coast facility prior to 12/21/2006.
The recalled products can be identified by the “Best Before” date found on the shoulder of the bottle or outside of the case. All Metromint recalled products (Peppermint, Spearmint, Orangemint, and Lemonmint) with “Best Before” dates before 2008/12/21, produced at the Californian facility, are affected by this recall. Products produced in the California facility have the lettering “KSA” in a rectangle located on the lower right-hand corner of the back panel on the label.
A retainment sample from November 2006 tested positive for a trace amount of bacteria (B. Cereus) which may cause 24 hour onset of diahrea, abdominal pain or nausea.

As a precautionary measure, Soma is recalling all product produced at the Valencia facility prior to the implementation of a state of the art sanitizing system on December 21, 2006.
This recall does not apply to any Metromint product produced at our East Coast facility or produced on or after 12/21/2006 (“Best Before” dates after 2008/12/20).
