Karma Covers New England, Expands Retail Authorizations

Following recent distribution agreements with Polar and De Crescente, Karma Wellness Water has gained an even larger foothold in the Northeast as the company announced new ties with several distributors in Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont. Karma, a cap-activated enhanced water, is also now authorized for sale in a number of retailers in the New England region including Roche Brothers and Market Basket.

Karma signed on with Federal Distributors, Valley Distributors, Maine Beverage Co., and National Distributors, all of which are part of the Anheuser-Busch and Dr Pepper Snapple systems in Maine. In New Hampshire, Karma is now working with New Hampshire Distribution and Bellavance Beverage Co. (both are also Anheuser-Busch system), and the company has a pending January launch with G. Housen in Vermont.

Karma now has 100 percent geographic coverage of New England, according to founder C.J. Rapp. Rapp said that the company will now turn its focus toward a greater number of retail authorizations in the region and look to continue its expansion along the East Coast as well as into the Mid-Atlantic, Southeast, and Midwest. He noted that while Karma has a “deep consideration” to stay within the Anheuser-Busch and Dr Pepper Snapple systems, he said that the company was particularly looking for distributors that are motivated to see the brand succeed.

“The ultimate goal is a strong route-to-market with partners that share our passion for Karma,” Rapp said.
