ZICO Pure Premium Coconut Water has announced that Steven Houston has joined the company as Vice President of Manufacturing. A 25-year veteran of the food and beverage industry, Houston has previously worked in both production and managerial roles for Pepsi Americas, Dolly Corporation, DAP Inc., Pepsi-Cola Company and most recently Cott Beverages.
PepsiCo has announced the appointment of Maura Abeln Smith to the position of executive vice president of government affairs, general counsel and corporate secretary, effective May 5. Smith will succeed Larry Thompson, who is retiring from the company to assume a teaching position at the University of Georgia Law School.
The International Bottled Water Association (IBWA) has announced that Dennis Carpenter has joined IBWA as Manager of Membership Services. His responsibilities include membership recruitment and retention as well as membership department administrative tasks including invoicing and reporting.
