MONTREAL, Quebec — Starting June 1st cases of COGO Coconut Milk Smoothies were imported from Soyummi Foods’ manufacturing facilities in Hardwick, Vermont and sold in Canada for the first time. For the initial Canadian launch, COGO Vanilla Coconut, Dark Chocolate, Cappuccino, Chai, Mango, and Strawberry will be sold in both independent and small natural / organic chains throughout the province of Quebec through Soyummi’s new Canadian distributor, Horizon Nature.
Soyummi’s CEO, Hans Black is enthusiastic about the reception that our Canadian distributor has already had in Quebec: “In an industry where most stores take the top sellers initially, I was excited to hear that two of the health food store chains that have taken COGO, Marché Tau and Les Jardins Val-Mont, agreed to take not just a few varieties, but all six flavours. Their complete support in our coconut milk smoothies gives us further confidence in how the Canadian public will receive our brand.” If the reception COGO has had in Quebec is any indication, then there is a lot to be hopeful about in the Ontario launch later this fall.
COGO Coconut Milk Smoothies are a USDA organic blend of coconut milk, quinoa, millet, a natural source of dietary fiber called inulin, and functional ingredients that vary by flavor. Currently available in Vanilla Coconut, Dark Chocolate, Cappuccino, Chai, Mango, and Strawberry, there’s sure to be at least one – if not several – flavors for health-conscious people who want a convenient, grab ‘n go beverage to replace a meal, as a pre- or post-workout energizer, or as a snack whenever and wherever they want it.
