OVIEDO, FL. February 12, 2015- NuAqous sports beverage with protein will enter the Kroger system’s FRY’S Markets with the 110 store chain in Arizona. Chuck Walkley, CEO expressed his excitement to now have the opportunity to be part of the Kroger family and looks forward to increasing the NuAquos footprint thru out the Kroger system as we grow the brand across the United States. Walkley further said, this is a testament that we offer the consumer an alternative sports beverage that we feel is best in class with protein and our proprietary blend of vitamins and minerals that will be available to FRY”S customers in late April.
The launch will be supported with a new Q2 consumer campaign that will be in-store and our social media campaign. In addition, a dedicated sampling program and grass roots pr and marketing program is on tap.
The NuAquos foot print continues to grow in existing markets with new retail partners said Walkley. With Hayden/Young ‘s market in Idaho carrying all five flavors and now in Albertsons Intermountain that covers 100 stores in Arizona, Utah, Idaho, Colorado and Wyoming .This retail expansion will be supported by a brand ambassadors program thru a variety of marketing initiatives and also create a paid internship program supporting the local universities thru out these states. In addition, NU Aquos continues to see great growth with new placement in the isotonic section at Associated Food Stores.
NuAquos sports beverage with protein, is made by New Whey Nutrition also makers of New Whey 42 and Beta Nox. NuAquos came to market in January of 2014 and is available in five flavors at major grocery, convenience, food & drug and gas stations in 17 states.
