Building off a terrific year of helping beverage entrepreneurs build their dreams through two sold out events, BevNET Live is returning to New York in June with an expanded program, a growing following and an enhanced venue.
EVENT DETAILS: JUNE 7 and 8, 2010 – W New York — NYC
This year’s BevNET Live summer event takes place on June 7 and 8 at the W New York Hotel in Times Square. During the event, a fast-growing roster of experts and innovators will help clarify the “new rules” of the beverage industry and how those rules are affecting its component parts, the suppliers, distributors, retailers and investors who help empower and grow entrepreneurial beverage companies. All of these classes of business have seen massive upheaval in the past 18 months, and the new configurations include different brand building methods, changing standards for investment and distribution partnerships, new regulatory hurdles and new metrics for success.
As part of BevNET Live’s growing programming choices, June 7 will feature the New York debut of Beverage School, BevNET’s potent new introduction to the business for early stage entrepreneurs, new employees, and anyone interested in learning the basics of the beverage industry. From learning how to allocate startup money and design your brand label to finding suppliers and building a sales force, the Beverage School curriculum offers a wealth of knowledge and a chance to meet the industry pros who can help a business grow.
June 8 expands the scope from the basic technical knowledge offered by Beverage School to encompass the industry as it stands today. With the help of our carefully-chosen speakers and experts, BevNET Live offers presentations, panels and discussions that feature up-to-the-minute analysis of retail categories, investment prospects and distribution strategies, as well as case studies in how successful brands are solving the problems of growth in a competitive environment. Complementing the outstanding content, the networking and beverage sampling opportunities afforded by BevNET Live create an unmatched environment for information exchange and community building in the entrepreneurial and innovative beverage arena.
And, of course, we’ll be bringing back our popular “Sampling Bar”, which gives beverage marketer attendees the chance to sample their product at the show.
In addition to BevNET founder John Craven and Beverage Spectrum editor Jeffrey Klineman, the preliminary list of speakers and panelists for Beverage School and BevNET Live includes the following:
