BevNET Live’s signature competition, the New Beverage Showdown, will be back in Santa Monica this winter, and BevNET encourages young beverage companies to apply today.
New Beverage Showdown 6, which will take place as part of the two-day BevNET Live conference, will be held on December 9 and 10 at the Loews Hotel in Santa Monica, Calif. The competition gives beverage entrepreneurs an opportunity to show off their business plan and new products and to receive immediate feedback from a judging panel composed of successful and well-respected industry veterans. The New Beverage Showdown is presented and sponsored by Venturing & Emerging Brands (VEB), an operating unit of Coca-Cola North America.
The New Beverage Showdown will feature a semifinal round on the morning of December 9. Approximately 20 brands will be named semifinalists and will present to the judging panel during a light breakfast that will be held before the official start of BevNET Live programming. All attendees of the conference are invited to watch the presentations.
The judging panel will then choose six companies that will move on to compete in the final round, which will be held on December 10. The winner of the New Beverage Showdown will receive a $5,000 check from VEB.
