CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — The Double Cola Company has teamed up with Atlanta Beverage Company (Atlanta Beverage) to grow its distribution in the state of Georgia. The team initially paired up in January. Since then, Atlanta Beverage has has proven to be dedicated and passionate, significantly growing the sales and distribution of Double Cola products throughout the western half of Georgia.
Atlanta Beverage joined Double Cola to distribute all Double Cola product lines in the Atlanta Metro area including western, central, and southwestern Georgia. Double Cola has been confident in Atlanta Beverage since day one because of its quality service and credibility within the industry. Atlanta Beverage, founded in 1930, is a family-owned non-exclusive Anheuser-Busch Inc. distributor within metro Atlanta, servicing more than 4,000 retail accounts within fifteen metro Atlanta counties. Founded by Stuart P. Murphy during Prohibition as a soft drink company that offered a “near beer,” Atlanta Beverage now supplies nonalcoholic and alcoholic beverages to most of Georgia, including Turner Field, home of the Atlanta Braves baseball team. Last year Atlanta Beverage acquired Dender Distributing based in Griffin, GA and is now one of the largest beer distributors in the country.

Over the last few months, Double Cola has worked with Atlanta Beverage to gain distribution in all three of their sales centers: Fulton, Marietta, and Griffin. To ensure success, companies have invested in equipment including fleet graphics, ice barrels, and coolers.
