Catoctin Creek Spirits to Be Distributed at Military Bases

gzA2T41wPurcellville, VA (May 19, 2016) – Catoctin Creek products will soon be available at the Army and Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES) “Class Six” liquor stores beginning this Memorial Day weekend. The following products will be available at the Fort Belvoir Class Six:

  • Catoctin Creek Roundstone Rye, 80 Proof
  • Catoctin Creek Roundstone Rye, 92 Proof “Distiller’s Reserve”
  • Catoctin Creek Watershed Gin
  • Catoctin Creek 1757 Virginia Brandy

As part of a military appreciation weekend, Catoctin Creek will have a brand ambassador on post giving away free tours and tastings to the distillery for all who come by and visit. We’ll also be offering tastings of the spirits, so you can sample our fine spirits before you purchase.

Excited by the new development, Scott Harris, founder of the distillery remarked, “My first ever visit to a liquor store was accompanying my dad (a career soldier) in a Class Six store in Germany. In some small way, this is where it all began for me, so I’m extremely proud to be offering our products to the men and women of the US military.”

Depending on the success at Ft. Belvoir, look for the products to appear in other Class Six stores and Navy Exchanges throughout Virginia.
