Impact Databank Reports SVEDKA Vodka Increased 2.9% to 4.2 Million Cases in 2015
San Francisco, CA, February 23, 2016 – Today, Impact Databank reported SVEDKA Vodka has surpassed Absolut Vodka in volume for the year of 2015. Experiencing exponential growth since Constellation Brands purchased the vodka company in 2007, this is the first time SVEDKA has exceeded price-point rival Absolut in the brand’s history.
According to a recent article in Shanken News Daily, over the past year, SVEDKA Vodka posted the highest growth rate among the top five imported vodka brands, increasing 2.9% to 4.2 million cases in 2015, while Absolut’s case volume for the past year slipped 2.1% to 4.1 million cases.* By surpassing Absolut, SVEDKA is currently the segment leader.
