BROOKLYN, N.Y. — Heights Distilling unveiled its latest innovations July 17 at the NY Distilled Grand Tasting, allowing attendees to sample the exciting new brands Dry Dock Gin and Jerold’s Gin.
Dry Dock – a small-batch, flavor-forward gin – pays homage to Heights Distilling’s location in the historic Brooklyn Nay Yard where it is distilled just steps away from the dry docks that launched battleships in WWII.
Jerold’s Gin is dedicated to the grandfather of Heights CEO Nicholas Clayton whose prolific home gardening turned his yard into a tourist attraction that funded many more public gardens throughout Clayton’s hometown Topeka, Kansas.
After it is distilled with a flavorful basket of juniper, cardamom, coriander, and rose petals, Jerold’s Gin is further infused with hibiscus and rosehip, giving it a tender character and a unique fuchsia color with delectable floral flavors.
Both exciting new products will be immediately available within Heights Distilling’s self-distributed retail network in the New York City area.
They join a portfolio that includes Heights Distilling’s award-winning Strange Night Vodka, which is rested in 10-gallon bourbon barrels to give it a silky finish and light creamy flavors from the charred American oak.
