Blending organic ingredients including coconut water, pineapple, mango, avocado and lemon, we weren’t quite sure what to expect when sampling this product. Fortunately, we were pleasantly surprised by what is essentially a play on a pina colada. Coconut and pineapple are the main players in the blend, while the mango, avocado, and lemon work well with the tropical-style flavor. The flavor is sweet (28g of sugar per bottle), but not too sweet, and it’s ever so slightly more viscous than their other flavors. Being high pressure processed (HPP) instead of pasteurized, we always expect the fruit flavors to be slightly more fresh tasting, but it’s harder to notice in this flavor compared with the other three 1915 varieties that we sampled. In any event, we like the concept, but there’s probably some adjustment to the mix that would make it even better. As for the packaging, it’s pretty hard to miss. The use of a square cap atop a square bottle makes it look both really slick and unique from competing products. Plus, the front panel is easy to read and well-organized, which are always pluses. All in all, we like this flavor, especially in that it offers something in both its flavor and packaging that you won’t find in other cold-pressed juices that are currently on the market.
