The sugar free BAWLS Guaranexx is the first line extension to the BAWLS Guarana brand and an impressive one at that. With its distinct, eye-catching glass packaging, the BAWLS brand stands-out among the large sea of competitors that make up the energy drink category. This packaging, combined with the highly-caffeinated formulation, has also helped BAWLS achieve a cult following in the electronic gaming community. So how does a sugar free offering fit into the image-conscious BAWLS line? Fortunately, time and effort were clearly put into this product. The packaging is stellar, offering a nice contrast to the original’s dark blue bottle. In addition, Guaranexx has a light flavor that is very true to the original and which bears almost no hint of artificial sweeteners. Finally, Guaranexx is a well-timed entry into an increasingly carb-conscious market. The originality and superb execution of this product make it one our favorite sugar free additions to the high-caffeine / energy drink category.
