Review: Peach Mango

Posted: Sep 23, 2008 at 12:00 AM (Last Updated: Nov 02, 2010 at 1:52 PM)
Compared with our first look at Celsius, this new flavor is much better in virtually every aspect. First, the flavor. This non-carbonated 10 calorie beverage has both fruit and green tea flavor to it, with well executed peach and mango flavoring helping to hide the functional ingredients as well as the sucralose. It's actually quite enjoyable tasting -- the flavor quickly grew on us. On the functionality front, this product relies on green tea (aka EGCG) and METABOOST as well as 200mg of caffeine to back its calorie burning claims. Packaging has also been significantly improved, with the can being much more aesthetically pleasing compared to the glass bottle that was previously used. The can is easy to read and clean, but we could live without the "BURNS CALORIES!" that cuts across the top. Overall, a very enjoyable product.
