Review: Vanilla Bean (2010)

Dry Soda is one of a few companies that have tried to create low calorie CSDs without adding artificial sweeteners. This 60 calorie formulation is no exception, with a pleasant vanilla flavor and a very mild level of sweetness. The ingredient list contains four ingredients which, aside from phosphoric acid, appear to have been chosen with quality in mind. Otherwise, the product is clean and crisp, with a surprising amount of flavor for a product that's as lightly sweetened as this product is. The updated packaging is clean and simple, with a minimalist design to the bottle. The new look label (launched in Fall 2010) is both much easier to read and visually more appealing. Plus, we like the addition of the calorie callout around the neck of the bottle -- it definitely will help this product on the store shelves. Overall, a very enjoyable product from Dry.
