Review: Energy Bomb Energy Drink

Posted: Sep 20, 2001 at 6:05 PM (Last Updated: Sep 20, 2001 at 6:05 PM)
Energy Bomb is a strong flavored energy drink that features taurine, isonitol, and glucuronolactone. Energy Bomb makes the claim that this beverage was formulated to taste great -- and compared to many other energy drinks on the market this one does fall near the top. It has a sweet flavor that resembles almost a berry/bubblegum-like flavor. As for the packaging, we think glass is a double edged sword for Energy Bomb. While it does add some originality and stick out from the rest, the glass packaging is a break from the 8.2oz can that customers look for when purchasing an energy drink. We also think that consumers are not willing to pay the same high price for a product packed in glass. Overall, a good entry into the market, but the packaging is what will make or break the product.
