Review: Mixed Berry

In terms of flavor, the Mixed Berry variety of Green Mustache is pretty close to being a “Blueberry” flavor, but we’re not complaining. The product’s thick body is definitely big on berry flavor, with banana being a close second. Although the company has added coconut water, chia and leafy greens, you really can’t taste those ingredients (aside from at the finish). The use of high pressure processing is definitely a plus, but since this isn’t a product that’s heavy on cold-pressed ingredients, the difference between this and a pasteurized product isn’t that noticeable. Still, it tastes very good and is loaded with good stuff on the nutrition end, including vitamins, minerals, fiber, and protein. It also has 130 calories and 24g of sugar per bottle. As for the outside, Green Mustache has done a great job updating the package format from a 10 oz. square-edged bottle to a 12 oz. cylindrical bottle. We really like how the company has executed the Green Mustache branding, utilizing a trendy icon, but still managing to give the product a very polished and appealing design. And with the new taller label, things are even easier to read than before. Overall, another solid flavor from Green Mustache.
