Jax Coco Kidz “100% Pure Coconut Water” is a straightforward and pleasant tasting coconut water that’s packaged in the Philippines. There’s not really a lot to say about this product that hasn’t already been said about coconut water. So, that pretty much leaves the branding and packaging as the key differentiators for this product. On that front, the company's approach, which utilizes a 3.38 oz. wedge carton with an attached straw, certainly looks different. However, the design and branding doesn’t really help Jax Coco establish itself. And establishing itself is the biggest challenge for this product, which, by entering the U.S. market, has tons of competition that it needs to stand out from. The biggest thing we’d change is the size and placement of the Jax Coco logo; it’s far too small and almost an insignificant part of the design. Overall, it’s a decent product, but we think the company needs to figure out a way to make this product really stand out more.
