Review: 18 - Charcoal Cream Party

Building upon Juice Served Here’s “Cream Party” variety, which is a blend of only coconut water and coconut cream, this product adds activated charcoal to the mix. The grayish color of the liquid is definitely not for the faint of heart, but we actually prefer the flavor of this one over it’s charcoal-free counterpart. Whereas the other variety is relatively one-dimensional and tastes of nothing more than coconut, there’s a nice roasted flavor to this one. This also has the side effect of making the flavor taste less indulgent, which is, at least in our opinion, a good thing. Then again, if the saying “we eat with our eyes” is at all true, we’re not quite sure that we’d pick this product up over one of the more visually enticing flavors (e.g. Super Choc). Still, for what it is, we appreciate the creativity and uniqueness of the blend. And for those people looking for their activated charcoal fix, it’s a nice alternative to a charcoal lemonade. Otherwise, Charcoal Cream Party looks pretty cool from a visual perspective and, thanks to the name and the color of the liquid, definitely catches the eye. Overall, this is certainly one of the more adventurous flavors of Juice Served Here and while it seems like somewhat of a novelty product, the execution is quite good.
