After ceasing operations and closing its remaining juice bars in December, Juice Served Here co-founder Greg Alterman, who issued the post, told BevNET that, despite facing a range of challenges, he’s confident that the brand has much more left to offer consumers.
In an official statement addressed to “guests and customers,” which was posted to its website and social media accounts and shared with BevNET, Juice Served Here CEO and co-founder Alex Matthews announced that the Los Angeles-based brand, founded in 2013, is now closed.

The cold-pressed juice maker, which began in 2012 as a Los Angeles-based brick-and-mortar chain of juice bars, have been steadily growing beyond its own locations and building a wholesale business at retailers, including Sprouts and Whole Foods.
In a video interview with BevNET CEO John Craven and filmed at Natural Products Expo West 2017, Matthews noted that while “grocery is an important category” for the company, its broader multi-channel strategy that has given it a competitive edge over competing cold-pressed juice brands.

Los Angeles-based cold-pressed juice company Juice Served Here (JSH) has inked a deal with The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf (CBTL) to add a new line of juices and lemonades in all of its corporate-owned cafes. The new JSH products will debut on Sept. 1 and replace Naked Juice beverages that are currently sold at CBTL stores.
