Review: Watermelon X-Press
(Last Updated: Jun 04, 2014 at 2:07 PM)
Juicera’s Watermelon X-Press is a three-ingredient blend of watermelon, apple and mint. Like the rest of the line, this product is “raw” and cold-pressed, with high pressure processing being used in place of pasteurization. As far as taste is concerned, it’s an excellent showcase of the ingredients and you can easily taste all three of them. It first and foremost tastes like a watermelon juice, with a splash of apple and some mint at the finish. That said, it’s super easy to drink and very enjoyable. On the outside, the look of the product definitely has the vibe of something that is minimally processed, but it also feels somewhat rough around the edges. An example of this is the name, “Watermelon X-Press,” which, while we understand what they are trying to do, looks somewhat clunky on the label and feels too technical rather than approachable. Overall, we wouldn’t change a thing about what’s inside the bottle, but we think that Juicera needs to work on its messaging a bit.
