Review: White & Vine

White and Vine is the fourth flavor variety for Owl’s Brew. The cocktail mixer is a blend of white tea, pomegranate, lemon peel and watermelon. It also features agave, for sweetness, as well as lemon juice, lime juice and raspberry juice. The liquid is tart and sweet, with a pleasant fruity flavor and a note of tea at the finish. Like Owl’s Brew’s other flavors, it’s complex but balanced in its flavor. The pomegranate, lemon, and watermelon flavors give the product a range of options when it comes to what to pair it with (the bottle suggests a 2:1 mix with tequila, vodka, gin, or wheat beer). And in whatever you pair it with, the slightly tannic note from the tea is an interesting enhancement. On the outside, the product comes in both an 8 oz. and a 32 oz. bottle. Both are painted with a matte black finish and have a black label around the midsection. We love the black and white style to the bottle, which allows the pink slice of watermelon to pop as it’s the only color used on it. This graphic, which is similar to what Owl's Brew has done on the other varieties, helps make it easy to spot the particular flavor that you are after. Overall, a very enjoyable and well-executed addition to the Owl’s Brew line.
