Review: Grape Strawberry

Posted: Aug 10, 2006 at 12:00 AM (Last Updated: Aug 11, 2006 at 11:10 AM)
Phat Phruit's Grape Strawberry flavor is a drinkable product, especially when you consider that it has vitamins and calcium as well as a low calorie/carb profile, but we can't help thinking that this product is a bit bland relative to the others. Basically, they've used two flavors that are often difficult to pull off and combined them into one drink. The problem is furthered by the use of pear juice, which we can taste through the grape and strawberry flavors. Maybe consumers will disagree and the numbers will prove us wrong, but there are three other flavors of this brand that we'd reach for over this one.
