Project Juice’s Liver Flush shot is a potent blend of grapefruit, beet, aloe, milk thistle extract, burdrock root extract and cayenne. All of these ingredients, which certainly pack in some good functionality, are organic, except for the aloe. Plus, the product is, like the rest of the Project Juice line, high pressure processed (HPP). From a taste perspective, this little 2 oz. product is loaded with flavor. Grapefruit, beet, and cayenne are the dominant flavors and the company has done a really nice job of balancing the three. Thanks to the HPP, the flavors have maintained a very fresh flavor, which makes a huge difference for the product. Finally, there’s a lingering spice from the cayenne. We’d describe this product as slightly spicy, but it’s far from being something that we’d call too hot for the masses. On the packaging end of things, we really love how the look of the Project Juice line has progressed since its first version a few years back. The branding is approachable and very polished, while the use of a greenish yellow cap really offsets nicely from the dark red color of the liquid. Overall, a very enjoyable product that we could see ourselves coming back to again and again.
