Review: Apple Juice

Continuing with the high quality approach that Purity has used on their other flavors, their Fresh-Pressed Apple Juice is a top notch juice product. Unlike a lot of other apple juice products that use blends of different types of apples, Purity uses 100 percent gravenstein apples to make this 100 percent juice product. As a result, the flavor that’s inside this bottle is fruity and complex to the point where it’s almost as good as farm stand apple cider (it even has the cloudy brown color). That said, this is probably the best-tasting shelf stable apple juice that we’ve ever had. Sure, Apple Juice isn’t a product that’s new or exciting, but nailing a classic product in a contemporary package is something that consumers will definitely want. The label, which follows the “grid of fruit” format used by all of their other products, feels like pop art meets organic produce. And it works really well, almost instantly whetting the appetite. Overall, this product, which bucks the trend of things like superfruit and coconut water and takes the simple and classic route, does a great job of making something as simple as apple juice seem exciting and new again.
