The Dreamy flavor of Red Thread Good Coffee promises “a hint of chocolate” mixed with its USDA Organic and Fair Trade Certified. Like the rest of its cold-brewed coffee line, this one is available in both ready-to-drink and concentrate form. For the purposes of the review, we’re focusing more on the ready-to-drink flavor since it’s delivered in a finished format the way that Red Thread Good crafted it. The flavor of the product is bold, but smooth and there is a hint of chocolate flavor to it. We like the fact that it’s mild rather than something that gets in the way of the flavor of the coffee. However, the ingredient list, which lists only contains filtered water and “organic Dreamy coffee," doesn’t explain the source of the chocolate flavor. Given that this is a premium product, we think that’s a mistake. Fortunately this is something that should be easy to fix -- and the liquid itself is spot on. Visually, we like the look of the product from a far, especially on the 32 oz. bottle. But on the 12 oz., we feel as though there could be better placement of the USDA Organic, Fair Trade, and "5 Calories" badge. Lastly, we find the logo, which uses a narrow font with all capital letters in a circular shape, a bit hard to read. Cleaning these items up would give the product a more polished look and, ultimately, a better shelf presence.
