Review: Resurrect Daily Detox & Anti Hangover Elixir

(Last Updated: Jun 07, 2007 at 1:15 PM)
Originally introduced as an anti-hangover product, Resurrect has now been rebranded as a "daily detox and recovery drink". In our book, this is a functional beverage that -- whether it works or not -- has a refreshing, easy to drink flavor. It's mildly sweet with a noticeable vitamin like taste, but there's definitely enough of the tropical citrus flavor to satisfy the palate. There's a mild aftertaste to the finish, but fortunately the aftertaste is smooth rather than harsh. Plus, we think that Resurrect's flavor has a good balance of functional and refreshment flavors, which is something that you don't always see in the functional category. The packaging is the 12-ounce slim can, which has been given a shiny red design that's rather minimalist in nature. Proving that "less is more" Resurrect manages to deliver its message in a way that is attractive and clean, immediately drawing your eye to the name and the product's functionality. The latest version of the can notes that it's a "tropical citrus" flavor, which is certainly going to be helpful to the consumer. Overall, Resurrect is a much more marketable and better tasting product.
