Revive’s flagship flavor, “The O.G.” (as in “The Original), has, in its shift to a new 10 oz. bottle, been given an upgrade. While the original 16 oz. swing-top bottle has its time and place, this is just a much slicker looking and more practical format. Inside the bottle, nothing has changed. This is a very mild and easy drinking kombucha. You can taste the tea as well as the added lemon juice, vanilla extract, and almond extract. These latter three ingredients are really what give this product its unique flavor -- and what set it apart from the competition. There’s definitely some sweetness to this product, but it’s not too sweet, and the lack of any vinegar flavor is definitely a plus. Instead, you get a light note of funk from the fermentation, but it’s very easy to get used to. Nutritionally, the product has 56 calories and 10g of sugar per 10 oz. bottle. On the packaging front, we’ll reiterate what we said earlier about this being a big upgrade for the brand. The stubby bottle definitely enhances the product’s visual appearance and helps it strike a balance between being artisanal and polished (the old bottle leaned too far towards artisanal). As for the label design, this is probably the company's tightest looking design. It’s clean and relatively clutter-free, with graphics that lure you in and text that’s easy to read quickly. We still feel as though “Revive” could be larger and more prominent, perhaps to the point where it’s decoupled from the word “Kombucha” that always follows it and, therefore, requires a small font. All in all, Revive’s best product just got a little bit better.
