Of the two fruit-flavored varieties of Sparkling ICE Lemonade that we sampled, we preferred the Strawberry Lemonade variety (Raspberry Lemonade being the other). The products are rather similar, but this one has a sweeter and more tart flavor that helps to mask the sweetener finish. Beyond that, the strawberry and lemon flavors are enjoyable and accurate (a formulation made with 3 percent juice probably doesn’t hurt), while the added carbonation gives the product some pop. As an added bonus, they’ve added B vitamins (10 percent RDA per serving) and green tea extract (50mg per bottle). On the outside, the product is packaged in the same 17 oz. slim PETE bottle that is used by the rest of the line. Aside from the addition of “Lemonade,” the product’s visual design seems to follow the brand's familiar format. It definitely looks the part of a polished value brand, which is exactly what Talking Rain has been so successfully operating as over the past couple of years. Additionally, we appreciate that the company let the product inside the bottle largely speak for itself (there’s no sales copy on the bottle). Overall, another nice addition to their flavor set.
