Review: Diet US Energy Drink

Posted: Aug 27, 2003 at 12:00 AM (Last Updated: Aug 28, 2003 at 9:01 AM)
As far as flavor goes, Diet US Energy does not disappoint. The flavor is light yet sweet and has a refreshing fruit-like taste to it. Fortunately, they've used a blend of ace-k and sucralose, so the product doesn't suffer from any harsh artificial sweetener aftertastes. As for the can, we like it -- but in several of our consumer tests the product was mistaken for a beer can (due to the size and silver appearance). Not necessarily a bad thing, but useful feedback nonetheless. Overall, this is a good entry into the diet energy drink category -- it's one of only a handful of energy sugar free energy drinks that might actually pass for the regular version.
