This product might not win any awards for being innovative -- it tastes very similar to Diet Dew -- but it is a solid entry if you consider it as a diet CSD. The citrus flavor is good and there's only a mild amount of sweetener aftertaste, which is no surprise given the product's use of an aspartame and ace-k blend. However, the tagline "drinks like a soda, kicks line an energy drink" doesn't really hold true. The only thing that really makes this product have any similarity to an energy drink is the addition of caffeine, which is not typically added to citrus based CSDs. We don't think that this will work with consumers, especially when you consider that looks and tastes exactly like a CSD. In any event, this is a decent entry into Coke's citrus CSD lineup, but we think that it will fail to win over long term consumers.
