Vita Coco Kids’ Paradise Punch is a naturally flavored coconut water-based kids beverage that comes packaged in a 6 oz. Tetra Pak wedge container. From a flavor perspective, this product, which contains 50 percent juice, is probably closer to a flavored water than a juice. The coconut water flavor at the base doesn’t get in the way (it certainly doesn’t taste like coconut water), while the added fruit punch flavor is certainly pleasant and on par with other products in the category. That said, this product is a low-calorie (35 calories) and low-sugar (8g of sugar) alternative to the typical juice box. And, of course, with this being a coconut water-based product, it’s full of electrolytes to the tune of 200mg of potassium and 10mg of sodium. There’s also calcium and vitamin C. The packaging is a standout job from Vita Coco, with the Tetra Pak wedge being a very nice complement to the containers that the company uses for its flagship products. The new products have the has the added benefit of being unique on the US market and also giving the product much more front panel real estate than a traditional juice box. With that extra space, Vita Coco has done a nice job of creating something that’s playful, but clean, with a cartoon character and prime placement of “kids” letting you know exactly who this product is for. Overall, we really like what the company has created.
