Before there was the New Beverage Showdown at BevNET Live, there was the Live Tasting Panel. It was a place where eager beverage entrepreneurs could spotlight their products in front of the BevNET crowd — at the anticipated cost of the occasional verbal jab from some of the toughest, but most insightful, judges in the business.
It also provided an early look at products and entrepreneurs who were going to be working hard to make it in the years to come, putting distributors, investors, and retailers on notice that the folks on stage were soon going to be knocking on their doors.
So it seems only fitting that on the occasion of the third BevNET Live event in Santa Monica, we bring back three of the most memorable entrepreneurs from the Live Tasting Panel for a visit. This discussion with Coba (nee Bonadea), Greater Than, and Nawgan will provide candid insights from some of the entrepreneurs who are now fully in the mix, fighting for shelf space and trying to keep the product moving. This panel, called simply “Status Report”, is sure to provide an unvarnished view of the life of the beverage entrepreneur — giving newer entrepreneurs in the audience a glimpse of what is to come, and some of the more experienced businesses important reminders of the key lessons they’ve learned on their way up. Their progress will provide insight and inspiration.
The Status Report panelists, who will be part of BevNET Live on Tuesday, Dec. 6 at the Loew’s Santa Monica Hotel, will include John and Mark Sider of Greater Than, Arnolfo Ventura of Coba and Dr. Rob Paul of Nawgan.
